They distory my car

5

First time coming to Amreica's Service Station this morning when my car died at Chik fil A. The tow truck driver discovered a loose connection on the battery and suggested I go to America's Service Station, and they would easily be able to take care of it. I got there and they got all my information AND drove me to work. They called about an hour later and told me they had fixed the connections and that everything looked good, but did I want some fluids replaced. As soon as they told me what they were I agreed because those are all things that were due for the 75,00 mile tuneup that I always have to ask for because I have a foreign car. I was so impressed that they knew those had to be replaced, I was sold. They are my new go-to mechanics...they are terrific!!!!!

Due to very busy schedules that most people encounter, the quick and efficient service is number one in my book. The courteous staff is also a big plus. The building is very clean and I find the waiting area is very pleasant. I must also say, the customers were warm and I live to talk with people. It was a great experience for me. I met a man who showed me his beautiful dogs. I was paying for my service and a nice young lady bought my cup I had left on the floor. There are still some wonderful people in this world. Take care

I would never return the people try to up sale every customer on windshield wipers wether you need them or not. I realized when they said the same thing to another customer that checked out after me. She said she would get them too, then they ask her if she used the wipers on the rear windows and she said sometimes and they told her she needed one on it. I brought two cars in for oil changes and they called me on the second car saying I needed brakes rotors, pad and two rear tires. The Machanic’s walk right pass you and don’t even speak. One the guys working inside dealing with the customers is a racist. I would never go back there.

Good service center to stop by after work. They were able to complete an emissions test 30 minutes before their closing time (7PM).

I’ll keep it short and simple. I had a great first experience with an oil change and emissions. Today, they fixed my cv axle. Great. They found two missing bolts unrelated to the axle. Quoted me $800 to fix it.....no thanks. Bought the bolts myself for $8.99 and fixed it myself. You’ve lost my trust.

Up until this morning I would have given a 5 star rating, been going to Doug and America's Service Station for years, We have 3 cars and I have bought tires, oil changes, done minor and somewhat bigger work, never had a problem. Not a major customer, but I'd say a pretty good one. I want to give local businesses my business and I wanted to build a relationship with those businesses. Today I went for an emissions test and was told I need new tires - I do. The tires I had (which were bought and installed here) were supposed to be good for 60K miles (warrantied for 60k) and they don't have 40K miles yet on them. Most annoyingly I was then told that they didn't recommend the Michelins I had on and I should go with Bridgestones, which is what I WANTED to put on 3 years ago and America's Service Station talked me out of for these Michelins...... so it feels like biggest mark up wins, not what is best for the customer. Anyway - I am not naive enough to expect Michelin to replace the tires, nor did I expect America's Service Station to do so, but I did think they would offer a discount for a decent customer who THEY talked out of buying the tire they now want to sell me and for a tire that underperformed by about 35% - even a paltry 5% would have worked.... or a free oil change. Nothing, nada, just a "sorry, can't do that" - the economy is good and they can afford to lose customers. So now I will go else where for all my tires and auto work - really sucks.
